Waypeak e kemi shkruar vetë. Për disa pjesë përdorim softuer të lirë dhe të dhëna të hapura. Këtu shkruhet nga vjen çdo pjesë dhe me cilën licencë. Faleminderit të gjithë atyre që e ndajnë lirisht punën e tyre.

Ikonat, distinktivët dhe imazhet
Të gjitha ikonat, distinktivët, siluetat e mrekullive, medaljet dhe imazhet zëvendësuese janë vizatuar për Waypeak (shtigje SVG të vetat). Flamujt vijnë nga flag-icons 7.6.0 i Panayiotis Lipiridis (licenca MIT, teksti i licencës) dhe shërbehen nga vetë Waypeak. Territoret pa flamur të vetin shfaqin kodin e tyre. Fotot dhe tekstet në postime u përkasin personave që i ngarkojnë.
Imazhet e monumenteve dhe mrekullive janë vizatime tona me vija, shumë të thjeshtuara. Nuk janë kopjuar nga fotot ose nga grupe të tjera ikonash dhe nuk tregojnë vepra arti të mbrojtura si statujat. Distinktivët e vendeve dhe grupeve janë motive tonat, jo stema apo emblema zyrtare.
Markat dhe emrat
Emra si UNESCO, Wikipedia ose Natural Earth u përkasin pronarëve të tyre; përmendja e tyre nuk nënkupton partneritet apo rekomandim.
E njëjta gjë vlen për NASA, Google, Apple, Stripe, Travelpayouts dhe Aviasales. Waypeak nuk është i lidhur me këto organizata dhe kompani dhe nuk mbështetet prej tyre. Emrat përdoren vetëm për të përshkruar përmbajtje ose shërbime, për shembull te hyrja ose te importi i historikut të vendndodhjeve të Google. Lista e mrekullive të botës moderne është përzgjedhja jonë e vendeve të njohura; Waypeak nuk është i lidhur me asnjë organizatë që organizon votime për mrekullitë e botës.
